Pompey In The Community

Overview

Pompey In The Community is a local organisation that helps young people get into playing football. This documentary follows the tale of Ed, a autistic youngster who participates in the local football club for young adults with disabilities hosted by Pompey In The Community. This project was a handful of the charity projects that I took up in my final year of university. Here I took the role of Director and Camera Operator where I coordinated a group of 3 other students to help me.

What When Well: This project went very smoothly, my team was edger to learn from me and I was excited to learn from them. I grasp a further understanding on leadership and coordination, especially when managing a multi-camera production.

What I Overcame: I had to adapt my interview skills as the production went on. My people skills of explaining how to answer questions, making sure the interviewees are comfortable and keeping everyone happy developed fast but not without a initial struggle.
